Aquagranda

Livigno is well known as an open-air gym, ideal for all sports men. Athletes wishing to train at high altitude or just athletes who believe that sport contributes to the well being of their body will find a fitness room of 350 square meters, fully equipped with Technogym machines, and a semi-Olympic swimming pool, built with Myrtha technology. The fitness area of Aquagranda Sports Center in Livigno also boasts a unique record: with its 1,816 meters above sea level is the higest training place in Europe, and the second of the world after Mexico City. A little curiosity: the name comes from the river Spöl, called "Aquagranda” in Livigno, which runs for 23 kilometers through the valley and then flows in the lake of Livigno (Lago del Gallo).
